Yuzu no Manma is an inconspicuous, unique snack straight from Miyazaki Prefecture on the Japanese island of Kyūshū. These are sweet citrus yuzu peels, the taste of which can be described as a combination of lemon, grapefruit and mandarin. Yuzu peel is usually a separate delicacy, especially because of its personal, incredibly flowery aroma. Yuzu no Manma from Fujii are candied yuzu peels surrounded by sugar crystals, which have an exceptionally refreshing aroma and a sweet and sour taste. Although we can eat the sweetened yuzu peel by itself - as a snack with coffee or alcohol - we also recommend trying it with porridge, breakfast cereals, yoghurt, and even as an addition to a drink.
