Tororo kombu - thin and long flakes of kombu seaweed
Fujicco Tororo kombu is a set of carefully selected seaweed, which are soaked in rice vinegar after drying to obtain its delicate texture. Then, they are rubbed into small and long flakes - common ingredient for many Japanese dishes. Most often they are used for soups to add rich umami flavour.
We also recommend trying them as an addition to udon or okonomiyaki noodles or as a substitute for nori seaweed for onigiri!
