Takanotsume (lit. "hawk clutches") is a popular in Japan papryczka chili pepper, named after its shaped which resembles clutches of some ravenous animal. Appropriately it is an extraordinary spicy pepper, whose spiciness reaches 30 000 units in Scolville's scale (compared to 8 000 of jalapeño to 8 tys.). Most often is eaten in dried form.
