Ichigo Choco Daifuku are traditional Japanese sweets in the form of mochi rice balls with a strawberry filling. This time, instead of sweet anko bean paste, daifuku mochi balls were filled with white chocolate. The rice cake itself, having a characteristically smooth, soft texture, was mixed with strawberry mousse (ichigo), which gives the whole product a slightly sweet, fruity aroma and a lovely pink color. This is an interesting alternative to the popular ichigo daifuku in Japan, which we recommend to every Japanese mochi enthusiast!
