Ninben Furikake seasoning for rice with chicken, 30g
Description
Furikake is a traditional Japanese rice seasoning that, in the form of a sprinkle, is used by the Japanese most often to add variety and sort of turn an ordinary bowl of white rice into a dish full of umami flavor.
Tori soboro, or chopped chicken, is the main ingredient in the rice seasoning from Ninben. It was prepared katamaki style (cooked in a cauldron), making this furikake exceptionally soft and flavorful. Additionally, it was seasoned with the company's Tsuyu no Moto sauce, or tsuyu bouillon sauce, which is a blend of soy sauce, sugar, mirin, kombu seaweed, and katsuobushi flakes.
Apart from the chicken, we could not miss the basic ingredient of many furikake - sesame seeds. This seasoning goes perfectly with rice, both as a sprinkle and as an addition to tamagoyaki or onigiri rice balls.
