Namaume ame are hard plum candies that have been produced according to the original Ribon recipe for 30 years. They have an unique and natural taste which has been achieved thanks to the use of the highest quality nankō ume plums. It is an ume variety from the Kishū region of Wakayama Prefecture with a thin skin, a small stone and a soft, fragrant flesh that retains a strong plum flavor when made into a paste.
