Recipe for Sunomono (Cucumber Salad)

1. Wash and cut a fresh cucumber into slices about 0.5 cm thick. In the meantime, soak a handful of wakame seaweed in warm water (5-10 minutes is enough)

2. Lightly salt the slices and set aside for 10-15 minutes to release water. After this time, gently rinse with water and dry with a paper towel.

3. Mix the sliced cucumber with 2 tablespoons of Mizkan Kantan-su, 1 teaspoon of sesame oil, Wakame seaweed (optionally, you can add chili or a teaspoon of Shichimi Toharashi for spiciness) and leave in the refrigerator for an hour. After this time, remove from the refrigerator and decorate with sesame seeds - Ready!
